[University of Hertfordshire] University of Hertfordshire hosts Spring school 2012

We are pleased to invite all Black and Brown belts to this year�s Spring School to be held in England on the weekend of:

27^th, 28^th & 29^th of April 2012

Under the guidance of Harada Sensei and the 5^th Dan Technical Group.

Time: Friday 27th April �12 from 19.00 to 21.00 hrs

Venue: Cricket Hall (half),

Grades: All Black & Brown

Time: Saturday 28^th April �12

Venue: Sports Hall 1; then moving to Cricket hall for all grades

Grades: 2^nd Dan to 5^th Dan: 13.00 to 14.00 hrs.

All Black & Brown: 14.00 to 17.00 hrs

Time: Sunday 29^th April �12

Venue: Sports Hall, 3

Grades: All Black & Brown: 10.30 to 13.30 hrs

[Cardiff] Wales Area All Grades, B&B and Grading Sat 25th Feb at Cardiff Venue

Just a reminder that this event will take place at the Cardiff venue on Saturday 25th February 2012. Black and Brown Belts start at 0900hrs, all other grades start at 1000hrs. This will run to about 1300hrs when we will retire in a heap to the bar for lunch!

Stoke course details online

A warm welcome awaits all members of the KDS to the first �All Grades� course of 2012 which will be jointly hosted by Staffordshire University KDS and Keele University KDS on the weekend of the 4th- 5th February 2012.

[Twickenham] Happy new year! we start training again on Thursday...

Just a quick one to say happy new year, and that our first session of the new year is on Thursday 5th January.

[London] Another beginners' course starts soon

The London club will continue to run beginners' course throughout the coming year, with the first being held on Tuesday 10th January. They provide the ideal opportunity to try something new, and will possibly help maintain those New Year's resolutions!

[Leeds] North of England regional practice, 25/02/2012

The Leeds club will be hosting a North of England regional practice (run jointly by the Leeds, Keele, Staffs and Newcastle clubs) at the end of February 2012.

Cost : 5 pounds

The practice is open to all KDS members.

Southampton 2nd to 5th dan course details available

All 2nd to 5th dans are warmly invited to attend the first course of 2012. This KDS course is hosted by Southampton and under the guidance of Harada Sensei and the Technical Group. This high level course is an excellent opportunity to brush up on your skills at the start of the New Year.

[Keele University] New Dan Grades!

After many years of hard training Dr Chris Gidlow of Staffordshire University KDS has been awarded his Black Belt 2nd Dan and Rowan Llywelyn Davies of Keele University KDS has been awarded his Black Belt 1st Dan

Members of both clubs wish them good luck, many congratulations and a big well done!

[London] Christmas practice schedule

Due to the closure of the club's venue there will be a break in the usual practice schedule over the holiday period.

The final practice of the year will be held on Tuesday 20th December, and whilst there will be no practices the following week, we will be back in action straight after the new year with the first practice back being held on Tuesday 3rd January.

[Twickenham] Grading result

[King's College London] New practice venue and time

King's College London practices have moved to Saturdays 3-4pm in Waterloo. The first practice at the new venue is 12 November. The address is Kinetic Fitness Club, KCL Student Union, Cornwall Road, London SE1 9NQ. All welcome.

[London] London course survived!

The 2011 London course has come to a close, hosted for the first time in Twickenham. Alongside a strong turnout from the London clubs (pictured), visitors were hosted not only from clubs across the country, but also a few who travelled from Belgium and Spain.

Thanks to all those that came, and of course to Tom who organised the bulk of the weekend's activities. We hope to see you all back next year!
